Fred Pry | Young Hearts & Mighty Voices | EP020
We often lament the agenda towards children, and as parents, we do our best to train our children to follow the Lord. But what about children who don't live in Christian homes? Those children live in a secular world and don't go to church, so how will they hear the Gospel?
We can't just say how sad that is; we must take action, as these children's souls are at risk.
For almost 90 years, Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) has specifically focused on spreading the Gospel to children around the world in strategic ways. One of their initiatives, Good News Clubs, is a school program that can be set up in a local school or community center, where children can hear the Gospel.
Our primary responsibility is to our family, but not our only focus. We must care about children in our community, many of whom have never heard the Gospel.
Fred Pry became a second-career CEF missionary over 20 years ago after twenty-five years in the business world. Fred’s journey with CEF began in directing a local chapter in Pennsylvania, which led to an appointment as state director of Virginia, followed by joining the staff at CEF International Headquarters as Director of Literature. Later, he was invited to lead USA Ministries, and since 2024, he has been serving as Vice President of Administration.
