Is Jesus really first in our lives? Many professed Christians will say yes, but when it comes to politics, many rebel against Biblically defined morality in the name of politics. Whether it’s to satisfy their own political aspirations, to appease the political collective or tribe they are loyal to. Scripture tells us in Ephesians 5:11, “Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.” Also Proverbs 24:11-12 “Rescue those being led away to death; hold back those staggering toward slaughter.  If you say, “But we knew nothing about this,” does not he who weighs the heart perceive it? Does not he who guards your life know it? Will he not repay everyone according to what they have done?”

What Jesus expects of us comes FIRST in all areas of life, including our political activities. When we, as Christians in politics, participate in or turn a blind eye to things God calls wicked, we are just as complicit in the destruction of America as Marxists and the globalist-cult. Matthew 5:13-16 Jesus tells us we are to be salt and light, and if we lose our saltiness or hide our light under a lamp, we are useless. Additionally, we are being hypocritical and actually harming efforts to spread the Gospel, as professed Christians if we are complicit in evil Christ rebukes. Everything in life must be in submission to God’s mission.
